1. What products and services does Mahala Energy offer?
Mahala Energy provides solar energy solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial clients in South Africa. Services include custom solar system design, installation, upgrades, maintenance, and related security solutions.
2. How can I place an order, and what is the cut-off time?
Orders can be placed directly on our Shopify website or by contacting us via phone or email. The daily cut-off time for same-day processing is 5:00 PM SAST, Monday to Friday. Orders placed after this time or on weekends will be processed the next business day.
3. How much does shipping cost, and which couriers do you use?
We charge a flat rate of R150 per order. Shipments are delivered via Fast Couriers or The Courier Guys, depending on location and package size. Shipping is available within South Africa only.
4. What is the estimated delivery time?
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Transit time is usually 2–5 business days, making the total estimated delivery 3–7 business days. Delivery times may vary due to courier schedules or unforeseen delays.
5. Can I return or exchange my order?
Yes. Returns are accepted for defective, damaged, or incorrect items, and change-of-mind returns are allowed within 7 calendar days of delivery (subject to original condition and packaging). Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days after approval. For defective products, the Consumer Protection Act allows claims up to 6 months after delivery.
6. How can I track my order?
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details. You can track your package directly on the courier’s website. If tracking information is not received within 2 business days, contact us at info@mahalaenergy.co.za.
7. Do you provide installation services for solar systems?
Yes. Mahala Energy offers professional installation services for residential, commercial, and industrial solar systems. Installation ensures your system operates safely and efficiently. Custom quotes and site inspections may be required before scheduling.
8. Is my personal information safe when I place an order?
Absolutely. Our Shopify website uses secure payment gateways, and we adhere to the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and our Privacy Policy. Your personal and payment information is encrypted and never sold to third parties.
